Legal Agreement

By accessing the Site or any page accessible on it You accept in their entirety and without limitation, qualification or modification the Website Terms of Use set out below (“the Terms”) and You acknowledge that You are bound by the Terms. If You do not wish to be bound by the Terms, You must not use the Site.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between You and Selby Abbey PCC as to Your use of the Site and shall supersede any prior agreement or representation in that regard.

We may modify the Terms in Our absolute discretion from time to time without individual notice to You. You will be deemed to have accepted all such modifications if You to use the Site after each modification has been posted.

Our Privacy Policy sets out the terms on which We process any personal data that We collect from You, or that You provide to Us. By using the Site, You accept that such processing will take place and You warrant that all data provided by You is accurate.

If You purchase goods (“Products”) through the Site, Our Terms of Purchase (set out below) will apply to those purchases. By purchasing Products through the Site You accept in their entirety and without limitation, qualification or modification Our Terms of Purchase. If You do not wish to be bound by the Terms of Purchase, You must not purchase Products from the Site.

Terms of Purchase

The following terms apply to all purchases of Products made through the Site and to the supply by Us of all Products purchased as a result of any visit(s) made to the Site by You.

Every care has been taken to ensure accuracy of descriptions, specifications, colours and prices of all Products. However, these may change due to circumstances beyond Our control. Sizes and dimensions are given as a guide only. Please be aware that handmade items are subject to variations in size, colour and shape, owing to the unique nature of each Product.

All Products are offered subject to availability.

The information displayed on the Site is considered as an invitation only, not as a confirmed offer for sale. Your contract with Us is confirmed upon Our supply to You of each Product that You order through the Site.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax.


You can order and make payment online through Paypal.

You undertake that all details You provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing Products are correct and that the credit or debit card You are using is Your own. If there are any changes to the details supplied by You it is Your responsibility to inform Selby Abbey PCC through the details on the contact us page as soon as possible.

Your contract for purchases through the Site is with Selby Abbey PCC.

Password/Account Security

It is Your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of Your password and account. You must not disclose your password or any other details of Your account to any third party. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by You to protect Your password or account.

We have the right to disable Your account or password at any time if in Our reasonable opinion You have failed to comply with any of the provisions of Our Website Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the Site in its entirety, including all text content, graphics, layouts and source code, belongs to Selby Abbey PCC. The content of the Site is protected by intellectual property rights, copyright law and treaties around the world. Some of the content of the Site is the copyrighted and licensed work of third parties. All such rights are reserved.

Copying, redistribution, use or publication of any content of the Site, whether for no charge or for any direct or indirect monetary gain, is strictly prohibited – save that You may print off one copy, and You may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Site for Your personal and non-commercial use and reference only and You may draw the attention of others within Your organisation to content posted on the Site.
